THIRAS Residency hosts four artists per year, two per cycle, in spring and autumn. Residents are offered accommodation within the THIRAS building for a period of six to eight weeks.

Prioritising time, dialogue, and research over production-driven outcomes, the programme encourages residents to engage with Athens and its networks, while allowing for possible contributions to THIRAS’ ongoing public or research activities.

Residents are selected through an open call or by curatorial invitation.
